Localism Act 2011 included Legislation for local communities to produce a Neighbourhood Development Plan which when adopted will become a legal document carrying significant weight when planning decisions are made.

Tredington Parish Council asked for volunteers in 2017 at two local meetings held in Blackwell and Newbold Village Halls to produce a Neighbourhood Plan for the villages of Armscote, Blackwell, Darlingscott, Newbold on Stour and Tredington. A small group was formed to create the Tredington Neighbourhood Plan Steering Committee. This group was formed to find out your views using public meetings, questionnaires, and by consulting with all stakeholders in the Parish.

The NP Steering Group will keep you up-to-date with the latest news as the preparation of the NP progresses.
